Freshwater mollusks and occurrence of Cercaria lutzi (Trematoda) in Pomacea canaliculata (Gastropoda, Ampullariidae) at Aclimação Park, São Paulo, Brazil

This study aimed to characterize the freshwater mollusk assemblage of a lake and investigate the occurrence of helminth larvae, with emphasis on the morphological identification of emergent cercariae. Malacological surveys were conducted at several sampling points along a freshwater lake, totaling 98 limnic mollusks. Specimens were identified taxonomically based on morphological criteria.
